On November 30, 2024, the AMOSUP Convention Hall was decked out in sparkling blue decor and disco balls, as the crew, principals, staff, and guests of Lydia Mar Manila welcomed the Holiday Season.
In her opening speech, Lydia Mar Manila President, Rodelita Homecillo, expressed gratitude for all the hard work of the LMM Team. She also thanked the crew for trusting the company with their careers, and the principals for their support and strong partnership with LMM. Before officially opening the party, Mrs. Homecillo reminded everyone about next year’s big event: The 35th Anniversary of Lydia Mar Manila!
To energize the crowd, we kicked things off with several games that tested the creativity and dexterity of contestants. Over dinner, heartwarming messages, songs, and photos of seafarers were played for the audience. Onboard crew were also part of our raffle, despite being at sea. Manwhile, seafarers also shared their talents. AB Manlapig serenaded us with a song, while AB Pontaoy danced to a medley.
Our principals also took the time to deliver their respective Christmas Messages to the Lydia Mar Manila team, crew, and families of seafarers. Gratitude and joy filled the air, and we all looked forward to an even more successful year ahead.
Meanwhile, one of the most anticipated highlights of the evening were the performances of the Lydia Mar Manila team. It was a showcase of choreography, shadow play, and creative costume-making.
The party welcomed the first of December with a fun-filled night of dancing and catching up with friends and colleagues over food and drinks.
